A requirement-led approach.
BOP replacement components must be identified against the exact equipment they serve. A description such as seal kit or ram assembly needs the manufacturer, preventer model and applicable part reference to support a useful enquiry.
Provide part numbers, revisions and quantity, together with equipment serial information where available. Include photographs of the nameplate and existing part markings as supporting information, alongside the technical specification.
State whether OEM parts are required or whether a documented alternative may be considered. Nordensol does not assume interchangeability from appearance, dimensions or a similar product name.

Standards & requirements
Provide the original equipment's governing specification and any applicable API 16A requirements for the component. Suitability must be assessed for the particular part and assembly.
