A requirement-led approach.
Drilling equipment enquiries may cover a complete package, a rig component or individual consumable items. Define the equipment boundaries and the operating duty so the sourcing scope is clear.
For drill bits, provide the hole size, formation or application information and connection requirements. For drill pipe, specify the dimensions, grade, connection, length and inspection requirements from your program. No material or connection substitution is assumed.
For mud pumps, include the pump type, required operating duty, drive arrangement and system interfaces. For kellys and swivels, provide the existing equipment references, dimensions, connections and required operating limits.
For rig equipment or a defined rig package, send the equipment schedule, site requirements and package boundaries. Availability, condition, proposed manufacturer and the supporting technical records are confirmed during sourcing and quotation.
